Main St Funk offers structured, age-appropriate dance classes designed to develop skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for dance. From tiny twirlers to experienced young adults, there’s a class for everyone.
Toddlers & Preschoolers
Petite (Ages 2.5 – 4)
Petite dancers are introduced to the magical world of music and movement through engaging and creative teaching techniques. These 30-minute classes develop coordination, listening skills, independence, and rhythm—all while having fun. Petite dancers enjoy all the benefits of learning to dance, without the added pressure of performance.

Mini and Tiny dancers build on fundamental dance skills in 45-minute structured classes that celebrate progress and achievement in a fun, supportive environment. These classes introduce young dancers to technique, musicality, and performance, leading up to Main St Funk’s exciting end-of-year concert.

Littlie and Junior dancers refine their skills while exploring new challenges and performance opportunities. Older dancers are challenged with advanced choreography and artistic expression, whether they’re dancing socially, for fitness, or as a pathway to the professional dance world. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged, while experienced dancers are given the tools to excel. These groups are always a highlight of the end-of-year concert, inspiring younger dancers with their energy and passion.
