Carla’s dancing career began at Bev Palmer’s. She was highly successful at all dance competitions, particularly in the areas of jazz, tap & acrobatics where she excelled as a performer. Following this, Carla trained full time as a professional dancer at one of Melbourne’s renowned dance institutions, Dance World Studios. Her teaching career began in her teenage years where she took on classes in the styles of jazz, tap, hip hop, funk and contemporary at a number of dance studios and leisure centres in Melbourne. Carla sustains a great reputation for her innovative choreography, her eye for detail and her ability to get massive improvements out of all of her students. Carla attended the Keep Kids Safe in Dance training session and workshop in 2017 and is passionate about providing an environment that promotes trust, teamwork and fun!
Chloe found her passion for teaching and choreography at the age of 14 when she started teaching hip hop classes. Since then she has gained invaluable experience teaching at a range of dance schools, holiday programs and gyms in Melbourne. In 2013 Chloe graduated from Box Hill Institute of TAFE with a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management. She also has a Certificate III in Fitness and has completed a year of full-time professional dance training at The Edge Performer’s School. She attended the Keep Kids Safe in Dance workshop and training day and is a member of the Southern Federation of Dance. Chloe is proactive about professional development and is always searching for ways to extend herself as a dancer and a teacher. She believes that dance class promotes confidence, discipline, a healthy body image and an active lifestyle and she strives to instil each of these qualities into all of her students while ensuring an inclusive environment where every student feels welcome, valued and seen.

Bree has been an assistant teacher, working with our junior students since 2013 and after years of being mentored by Kristie Hocking, Bree officially joined the team, taking classes of her own in 2017. She is very much loved and admired by all her students and the rest of the MSF team, because of her gentle and caring nature and her passion for dance. Bree holds Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and in 2019, she hopes to further her studies in the areas of her combined passions: dance, dance teaching and education. Breeana is a fantastic role model for the MSF kids and having started at just 4 years old, is a perfect example of one of the many pathways students may choose to take when they start dancing with Main St Funk.
