Hi Main St Funk Family!
Welcome to Term 3. We are thrilled to see the studio buzzing with new and returning students this term.
Thank you to everyone who is braving the cold and staying committed to dance! We know it is especially tricky this winter with so many illnesses around and we truly appreciate your dedication to ensuring you and your children have the most positive dance experience possible.
We have hit the business end of the year as we start working towards CONCERT DAY!! Our end-of-year concert is well and truly the most exciting event of the whole year and a highlight for every dancer and their family. Concert season means costumes, make-up, hairspray, stage lights, rehearsal at the theatre, a professional photo shoot and of course, our spectacular performance.
This is an opportunity for every dancer to feel like the superstar they are. A moment for them to shine in the spotlight and for parents to see a year of hard work and commitment to dance come to fruition as their dancers sparkle with confidence on stage.
As you may know, Main St Funk holds three separate concerts at the end of the year.
All students from the Mini age group – the Inter age group perform in one concert only.
Teens and Seniors perform in all three shows.
Petites do not perform in the concert.
To view the concert information including compulsory rehearsal dates, performance dates, location and concert groups (which concert your dancer is in) please read the info on our website and take note of all important dates. https://mainstfunk.com/2022/02/27/2022-concert-info/
If your family is not available for the rehearsal or concert day, please communicate this to the MSF team asap.
Is the concert compulsory? Have a read: https://mainstfunk.com/2022/05/21/is-the-concert-compulsory/
We cannot WAIT to be back in the theatre for our professional productions of “The MSF Museum”… who knows what adventures await you in the audience.
