TERM ONE 2018!
Wow! What a great start to 2018 we have had. A new dancing home, a few new classes and lots of new faces. And of course, lots of familiar faces are back for another year too. Thank you for your ongoing patience and support as our new studio is still a work in process. We hope to get the Wednesday and Friday kids in soon and promise it will be worth the wait.
We trust that everyone has settled in to their classes. It’s not too late to try a new style, we offer Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary and accept new enrolments right up until term 3.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY SUNDAY MARCH 18
Main St Funk have once again been asked to perform at the City of Whittlesea Community Festival (for the fourth year in a row!). Students will perform a short routine with their class and then participate in the disco party held straight after. It has been asked that The MSF Kids stick around to help get the party started. (We are good at that!). This festival is always heaps of fun and one of the highlights of our year. This event is completely optional but highly encouraged as it is a great way to practice in front of a relaxed and encouraging audience, a great chance to bond with your classmates and it will be heaps of fun!

TEACHER & TIMETABLE NEWS
A number of our hip hop classes are now FULL! Thank you to everyone who continues to spread the word about Main St Funk. Word of mouth is a huge part of what helps Main St Funk get bigger and better every year. To compensate for the huge demand and to make room for everyone, we have added in three brand new hip hop classes on Monday nights. Students are welcome to swap over to Monday if this day and time suits them. We welcome the fabulous Angelique Kondovasis to the MSF team to teach our Monday night hip hoppers. To get to know Angelique and the rest of your teachers, jump on our website: https://mainstfunk.com/meet-the-team/
Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and to like our Facebook page for daily updates and inspiration! We would love to hear your feedback, if you have a spare minute to leave us a review on our Facebook page. Thank you!
As you know our mantra is “dancing is our happy place” and we aim to provide a positive and fulfilling atmosphere where friendships, team work and fun are at the forefront. We have already seen so much improvement, enthusiasm and new friendships formed and believe this is only the beginning for what will be our best year yet.
Keep it up kids!
